Cell Groups
A large proportion of the people at St Andrew's meet during the week in one of our 8 Cell Groups. These meet in homes in the area and are overseen by Debbie Vine our Cell Co-ordinator.
![]() Each group has a leader, although cell members are encouraged to take turns leading, or helping to lead. All church members are encouraged to be a part of a cell group. Each cell works through different studies seeking to learn more about their faith. The studies often revolve around the readings and sermon from Sunday morning along the themes of: Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness. Cell members are strongly encouraged to support each other in prayer. Cell members can invite other people to their cell, whether a church member or not. Cells which grow can then multiply to form two cells. This is part of the way that it is possible for the church to grow. The various cells meet at different times of the day and evening to accomodate different groups, which include mums and toddlers, workers, retired people, amongst others. Cell Groups are an essential and important part of the church’s life. Cell Values are: Jesus at the centre; Community; Every member growing; Every member ministry; Evangelism. New members are always welcome. Please contact Debbie Vine, Cell Group Co-ordinator on 724 0088 to find out more about cells and when and where they meet.
