About Jesus
Who is Jesus to you? What do you know about Him? How can you find our more about Him?
At St Andrew's we believe that Jesus is the Son God God, sent by God to show what God is like and how to live a fulfilled life full of purpose. You may think that Jesus was just a good man who taught some good stories and did some good things - we believe that HE was more than that, He was also God, who came to die in our place and show us the way to the Father.
A famous author, CS Lewis, once wrote "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be insane of else he would be the devil of hell. You must make your choice. Either Jesus was, and is, the Son of God or else he was insane or evil but let us not come up with any patronising nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."
We run courses regularly throughout the year. These are excellent opportunities to learn who Jesus is and what relevance faith in Him can have for your life is all.
